Questions related to learning and how IFF addresses them?
Any parent is eager to see his son/daughter coming up in life as an enlightened individual. In the process they raise a number of pertinent questions related to the method of learning, character building, etc. Here are such questions normally raised by parents and how the IFF system of education will address those.
- What curriculum suits the modern-day students?
UNESCO in its report states that the four pillars of education of 21st century are a) learning to know, b) learning to do, c) learning to live together, and d) learning to be. The curriculum of IFF will centre around these principles on the bedrock of Indian and Universal value systems. The curriculum will acknowledge the explosion of technology in learning and will bring the best of east and west to the learners.
- What types of infrastructural facilities contribute to efficacy in education??
Famous psychologists such as ‘John Piaget’ underlined the need for creating the right type of environment for learning instead of mere teaching. The IFF believes that the learning environment should induce the interest of the learner to know more and therefore, the infrastructure of the school includes inspiring libraries, spacious playgrounds, well-lit classrooms, excellent living space, etc. ( Click here to see the layout of the school).
- What types of evaluation take away the examination fear from the child?
IFF will be introducing the concept of On-Demand Examination system for students from the beginning. The students will be encouraged to take their examinations when they feel they are prepared to do so. By doing this, the fear of examination present in the students will be taken away at the time of terminal examinations
